A couple of days before the American holiday most associated with eating too much, we speak with Kaijun, a monastic at Zen Mountain Monastery, about thanksgiving, gratitude and joy. Although Thanksgiving Day is a time of feasting on food, it’s also a fine opportunity for feasting on the joy of being with family and friends, and for expressing our gratitude for our good fortune, whatever form that may take.
