			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://noraolsen.com/">Nora Olsen</a> is the author of a new novel for young adults, <em>THE END: Five Queer Kids Save The World</em>. Last fall, in response to the rash of teen suicides that made the headlines (and all the others that didn&#8217;t make the headlines) she organized a rally in Beacon in support of our youth. Zara Ansell is the outreach coordinator at the <a href="http://www.lgbtqcenter.org/">Hudson Valley <abbr title="lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning">LGBTQ</abbr> Center</a> in Kingston. Both women speak about the ongoing need for community support for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LBGTQ) youth.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.thetrevorproject.org">The Trevor Project</a> is the leading  national organization focused on crisis and suicide prevention efforts  among <abbr title="lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning">LGBTQ</abbr> youth.</p>
