For six weeks, in collaboration with the Children’s Media Project and Radio Uprising, the Project ABLE group learned how to create a radio show, episodes of which aired on WVKR from 4 to 5 pm on six Thursdays. Choosing topics of importance to them, the students interviewed, recorded, edited and produced Turn It Up! We ask the young people what they learned from the project, and play some excerpts.
